The IEC defines an equivalence between some languages only:

FBD is a graphical form of ST

LD is a graphical form of IL

SFC has no equivalence in other languages

The main problem is that, doing cross language bridges, we loose a

large quantity of information about the semantic of one particular

language, and nearly everything about the formatting of the source

code. To summarize, let's say that, even if a cross language bridge

can be technically feasible, the result, even if it is correct, is

generally not readable, mainly because a graphic source code also

contains wiring points which must be described in other languages as

the use of intermediate variables.
